Thank you for this session. this was awesome thank you.
I do have 1 question please.
Applications have been deployed to devices that either do not run auto-update or users dont have admin rights to update to the latest version, my question is will there be a update when Intune will see the application that is installed on a device and with that will update the application. Doesn't need to be auto updated as such but if a admin approves the latest version then could Intune run some sort of search and find installed applications and then update those applications.
example: App1
Installed on device: A
MS: App1 is out of date
MS: New update found
Admin approves update
MS: downloads and updates catalog app
MS: Then deploys the update to the device.
thank you

Nov 28, 2023MarcoDS395 Today with EAM, if a catalog app that has been deployed has an update, the admin can go through the guided update scenario and update the app on all (or a subset) of the devices with that app. We are working with other teams within Intune to investigate how we can also update apps that may not have been deployed via the catalog, but an update or security vulnerability has been detected. Again, this does not exist yet, but keep your eyes open as we'll continue to add features and capabilities post GA.
