jeddy_ For self-updating applications, Intune lets the app just do it's thing. If you want Intune to be in the middle, you need to turn off the self-update feature.

yeah, but what about when that auto update fails - then we need to step in with a new version, which means we still need to package the app. What we'd like is for example, to is package Chrome Stable and put version to 'latest', and every time a new version of Chrome Stable channel lands, Intune just updates our deployed app automatically.
