- Charlie DobsonIron ContributorHow do we configure MAM for users with both personally owned and corporate owned devices without the policies conflicting with each other?

Microsoft
Today Windows MAM is released for unmanaged Windows devices. We are targeting future support for MAM on managed Windows devices (AADJ, HAADJ, MDM, etc). We are also targeting future support for enabling Intune assignment filters for Windows MAM. For customers on mobile, the combination of these two capabilities is typically used to separate MAM policy controls between personal, unmanaged devices and corporate, managed devices.
- Jay MichaudIron ContributorIs APP for Windows a new feature? How does this relate to Purview Information Protection?
- Daniel_Emerson
Microsoft
MAM for Windows (including APP, ACP and App CA) is a new feature for the Windows platform. Microsoft has offered MAM capabilities for Android and iOS for about 10 years now. Intune App Protection Policies is a separate feature from Microsoft Purview. Please share any feedback you have for future integrations you would like to see between Intune MAM and Purview capabilities.

Welcome to Microsoft application management (MAM) for Windows and the second annual Microsoft Technical Takeoff for Windows + Intune! Have a question? Post here in the Comments so we can help. Let’s make this an active Q&A!
- RobdeRoosIron ContributorThis is a hot topic at our customers at the moment. The most asked question....: Why can't Microsoft manage their own OS' and applications using MAM and why is this possible on iOS and Android...

Glad to hear this topic is important to your customers. As you will see in this session, we do now have MAM support on Windows and Microsoft Edge is the first application to integrate MAM features.- Joe_Lurie
