MicrosoftMicrosoft has been adding value into the Microsoft 365 E5 license for years. As customers have asked us to extend our products, such as Intune, into more adjacent categories, it's become necessary to package the value from the Intune Suite separately.
I think the customers here are asking to extend the products within the existing licensing. 🙂 Or, perhaps consider E6 or something. However, I think the customer concern is eventually the $10/user/month add-on (seemingly always $10 regardless of the relative value or market price, which is frustrating as a customer) will evolve into yet another $10/user/month add-on for the next evolution of Intune functionality.
