- Tee_RarCopper ContributorAny plans for device inventory for macOS? Or at least IP details?

Hey T R-- MacOS support is coming in the near future! - Jason_Sandys

Cross-platform is the goal for nearly every feature in Intune. Each platform has its own unique requirements and limitations though so the paths to enable many features across all of them varies.
- Brett_AbbottCopper ContributorWill there be a session on this at Ignite?
- Abby_Starr
Microsoft
Hi Brett! Our Ignite sessions are still being finalized.
- Jalel_JaziriCopper ContributorWill we have the exact Manufacturer Model instead of the mix of letters and numbers? Exemple : Dell Lattitude XX or Lenovo T4** Thanks
- Jason_Sandys
Microsoft
Hi Jalel Jaziri, Data collected by the inventory feature will reflect the information provided by the device itself. In the case of device manufacturer and model, this info is populated on the device by the OEM and so is defined by them, not us. What challenge exactly are you curious about or looking to overcome?- pjmarcum410Occasional ReaderMy guess is this question is related to Lenovo devices. They put the model info that everyone wants into a different place in WMI than every other manufacturer.

Will 3rd parties like ServiceNow (when consent is provided) be able to pull this additional Device Inventory information, expanding what is visible from other support tools?
- ankurladCopper Contributor
This can be done by syncing Intune device logs to Azure Event HUb. Then parsing the data to call ServiceNow API to Upsert the inventory detail

Hey Greg-- we will not be supporting 3rd party connectors during the initial release. However, we will be supporting future integration with Microsoft Fabric.- pjmarcum410Occasional ReaderCan you give me details around the integration with Microsoft Fabric?
- floresbeCopper ContributorHow does BitLocker key data compare to Active Directory BitLocker keys? I’ve observed that for many devices, the BitLocker keys stored in Active Directory don’t always match those managed by Intune.
- Jason_Sandys
Microsoft
BitLocker Recovery Key storage is the responsibility of each individual device and is triggered *only* at the time that an RK is set (or reset). ON hybrid joined devices, devices attempt to save the key to both locations but only one is required to be deemed a successful key save. Depending on connectivity and various other factors that the device cannot and does not control, the RK may thus only be saved to one of the locations. One recommended path to help here is to choose a single authoritative location (hint: this should be Entra ID) and use a remediation script to force all managed Windows devices to periodically save their keys to Entra ID. (Also note that BitLocker RKs are stored in Entra ID and not Intune.)
- ManuelNietoCopper ContributorWill we have filters for form factors? Like Laptops vs Desktop, vs Tablet, etc? Or... Do we have already?
- Adrian_ScottCopper ContributorFor the moderators, with PowerShell you can return this info with Get-ComputerInfo I believe this returns Registry information My laptop for example returns: CsPCSystemType : Mobile CsPCSystemTypeEx : Mobile
- akelley1850Copper ContributorWMIC already knows the device type, so I don't see why this wouldn't be doable.
- Garth-MVPIron Contributore.g. can we collecting Chassistype from Win32_SystemEnclosure?
- ercgoodmanBrass ContributorWill inventory work on jailbroken or rooted iOS/Android devices?
- Garth-MVPIron ContributorWill you be demos Hardware inventory at MMS 2024 Flamingo? if so what is the session called?
- pjmarcum410Occasional ReaderI heard that the Intune team has a conflicting team meeting that week so they won’t be at MMS.
- DamienC1295Copper ContributorCan we monitor network performance with Advanced Analytics ???
- Abby_Starr
Microsoft
Hey Damien-- not quite yet, but it's definitely something we're discussing. Would love to hear more about what's needed to solve your scenario!
- Intune_with_devicesCopper ContributorWhat other features are coming from SCCM that are on the Intune roadmap?
- Jason_Sandys
Microsoft
Hi Alan Davis. Let me turn that back around on you: what do you want (or need really) and why do you need it, i.e., what's the business scenario you are looking to address using Intune?
