How do we manage devices that report the same serial number between two vendors like a Dell Laptop Tag is same as a Acer Motherboard serial number?

    Hi Ankur Lad. Can you be more specific? What challenge exactly does this pose? To Intune, this is just a data point and not used for anything specific. Management of the device is in no way dependent on this value.

    Hey Ankur-- both devices will report the same serial numbers in inventory/device query. Intune creates a unique device ID for every device enrolled, so you'll still have a unique device identifier.
