- VaishnavK1993Brass ContributorOnce we deploy an App via the Enterprise App catalogue method and If we want to downgrade a version of a particular app, is there an option available in Intune now?

Thanks for participating in today's session of AMA: Enterprise App Management, Advanced Analytics in Intune Suite! For reference, the panel covered your question at around 20:50.
- Thomas_ShirleyCopper ContributorIs the app catalog available to review everything that is included today?
- Joe_Lurie
Microsoft
Thomas_Shirley You can see what apps are available today at https://aka.ms/EAM/AppList.
- MaenXeBrass ContributorOne of the most common reasons app deployments fail in my organization is due to applications running when an install runs. We have a workaround to create a script that runs as a requirement that checks to see if the process is running. It would be nice if this was available automatically. We could provide a process name to Intune, and the client can check if it is running before attempting an install. If the install is running in the foreground in CP driven by user interaction, it could even warn them that the install cannot run because this process is running and ask the user if they can close and retry.

- PauloPiqueteCopper ContributorHow it works whe a app have a new version? Need to create again the installation?
- Joe_Lurie
Microsoft
PauloPiquete Danny did a demo on how to update the app, once the Guided Update scenario is generally available. His demo was about half way through the presentation.
- Marc_RhodesCopper ContributorWill the New MSFT store continue to be maintained alongside this catalog? How do they differ?
- Joe_Lurie
Microsoft
Marc_Rhodes For clarity, the Store app (new) app type is not a new store, but more of a new Storefront to access the existing Microsoft Store. We will continue to offer the Store app (new) app type as well as Enterprise App Management. These are two unrelated, different catalogs of apps.
Main difference between using one over the other is in the Store catalog, app vendors push their apps to be available. In the EAM catalog, we pull the apps to be made available. You may see some overlap where some apps are available in both: Store and EAM. With EAM, we give you the install/uninstall commands, as well as detection rules and requirements. This makes EAM easier to deploy apps.
- StuartMeechanCopper ContributorOne thing I noticed when I was looking to install applications recently was that the versions available in Intune were sometimes a couple of versions behind the versions available on the companies websites (Dell Command Update and Notepad++ are two examples of this). How quickly will Microsoft have the applications available within Enterprise App Management once they are released by the company themselves?
- Joe_Lurie
Microsoft
StuartMeechan We are working to speed this up. No timeline is available, and we don't offer an SLA at this time. But know that we are working to get the updated apps into the catalog must quicker.
- AndrewHoffmanCopper ContributorIs there a full list of available apps that are available on Enterprise App Management anywhere? I would like to see what's currently available before possibly upgrading our license.
- Joe_Lurie
Microsoft
AndrewHoffman You can see a list of currently available apps at https://aka.ms/EAM/AppList.
- ajp999Brass ContributorWould be good if Adobe products could be added 🙂
- HawkeyeCopper ContributorWhen is the apps catalog coming to GCCH?
- Joe_Lurie
Microsoft
Hawkeye It's coming to GCC soon. Not sure about GCCH. Keep an eye on the https://aka.ms/M365Roadmap and https://aka.ms/IntuneInDev pages.
- BethWieseCopper ContributorIs there a recommended method for interactive Win32 application installs through Intune? Especially for older 3rd party apps where users need to enter individual license keys during the install.
- Joe_Lurie
Microsoft
BethWiese This is not an option today in Intune, but it's a common ask. Please go to https://aka.ms/IntuneFeedback and either add this or upvote it.
- MaenXeBrass ContributorPlease tell me there are more reports coming to the baseline Intune license level of Endpoint Analytics. Of the only three current reports Application Reliability, Startup Performance, and Work from Anywhere, the Application Reliability is the most useful. I find Work from Anywhere completely useless as it is not clear what the score even means, or why I should care. Literally every workstation in my environment has the same high score, but no guidance to how to improve or what is impacting the score. I'd like to see more specific feedback on the Startup Performance, allowing us to drill down to find out specific timestamps for startup items within a reboot instance.

- MaenXeBrass ContributorThanks for the answer, but basically what I heard is "This is the beginning of more, but likely all new features will be pay (more) to play."
