With Endpoint Manager you cannot replicate the exact same settings from MECM. E.g. Endpoint Manager doesn't collect many information about device encryption when the workload moved to the cloud in Com-mgmt , so I don't have information about the encryption details without workarounds. What is your advise regarding the compromises need to be considered when you are planning your configuration items in the cloud, but don't have the same or detailed enough options?

Jul 21, 2022What's your final goal with having this information? Are the policy reports in Intune where you've deployed the policy from not sufficient?
- engelcgJul 21, 2022Brass ContributorFor example a device got encrypted with OOBE with default settings or don't have the desired setup and I want to see info on that.

Depending on the exact detail, you can use proactive remediations or custom compliance. As noted also though, if the setting is deployed from Intune, then the reports in Intune will tell you the state of the policy and whether the setting has been applied to a device or not. Is this not sufficient?- engelcgJul 21, 2022Brass ContributorSo far in reports and digging device properties I only found the info that the devices are "encrypted", but I won't be able to check the exact encryption settings, also cannot easily decrypt the device if it mismatch the configuration and re-encrypt it based on the defined configuration profile.
