AMA: Device reporting and analytics in Intune

Meanwhile there is the possibility to view audit data from time ranges long ago. Last entry I was able to see was september 24th 2021. In the past there was only 90 days displayed an we therefore implemented a data save to Log Analytics via the diagnostic settings. But meanwhile I guess this is not needed anymore. Because there is more data in Intune itself than in LA with standard settings (180 days). Would you agree? Is there any documentation that describes these changes? By the way the display in tenant administration -> audit logs is horror. I filter for a timeframe in the past, than I have to push "load more" and data from today is displayed. In most cases I have to export this data to excel to find what I'm looking for. Is there another way to search for audit data comfortable?
