Unleash Your Potential with Microsoft 365 Copilot: An AMA to Ignite your Productivity
Event details
Will M365 CoPilot be also added to Azure DevOps? I find LLM invaluable to write my Scope/Requirements, Acceptance Criteria, BUsiness Benefits and weekly notes/updates. It would be fairly simple for MS to add a "Generate Text" button for each text box. Can we please ask for this to be integrated into Azure DevOps?

- GabeHoNov 15, 2023Iron ContributorHey Richard, sorry for the delay. Azure is a separate business and it took some tracking down to find the right person. At this time Copilot doesn't natively integrate with ADO, but you could export to excel and use M365 to generate something from it. At the same time, we've passed along the feedback that it would be very helpful to have this functionality to the team!

Hi Gabe and thanks for replying. Unfortunately, that is already what I am doing today (I write my rough/general notes for Scope/Reqs, Acceptance Criteria and Business Benefits, copy/paste them to our internal corporate Azure OpenAI implementation, and use the notes as input to generate the nicely formatted output by OpenAI, ie., the more "executive summary" level writing versus my rough notes). I do this today already (with copy/pasta... as this is not columnar data or raw numbers), our internal team already created a "ChatGPT"-like interface using our internal Azure OpenAI implmentation. What I would like for you to pass along to AzDO team is that they need to integrate this directly into the interface. If I was a software engineer, I could probably do it myself, except for that we cannot force BHO/button elements on AzDO as that is a Microsoft-owned website. But being a website, it can be easily integrated with an OpenAI endpoint, and a simple "Generate Text" button. This is a simple mock up >>>> https://imgur.com/UjppNqd
And then have that same button available for the "Scope/Requirements", Acceptance Criteria and Business Benefit text boxes as well.
