Are questions asked to Copilot used to train the model?

MicrosoftNo. Prompts and responses are not used to train the underlying large language models. Beyond that, Copilot prompts and responses will stay within the Microsoft 365 service boundary and all associated data handling commitments will apply, including support for GDPR, ISO/IEC 270181, and our Data Protection Addendum. Prompts and responses will be logged, will be subject to customers’ data retention policies, and will be available for eDiscovery and other Purview capabilities.
