- Hello, We are a small org with approx 100 users, of which maybe 5 would want access to copilot. Are we able to just upgrade 5 of our users without upgrading the rest of the team? What is the fastest way for us to get those 5 users onto a test case? My specific desire to use copilot involves mostly excel workloads, as I handle large CRM data sets of marketing leads. I have some questions around the use cases for these workloads.
- 1. Will copilot be able to reference other sheets when I am working within a particular sheet? example: If I have a list of target companies for marketing, and I want copilot to easily cross check against a list of current customers that we should exclude from marketing efforts, could it do that in the same way that an excel formula can reference a different sheet either stored locally or within the same sharepoint instance?
- 2. Will it be possible to have "standing instructions" for use by copilot within excel? example: if I always end up removing certain job titles from a lead list, say any leads in the sales department, would I be able to add some sort of persistent instruction to co-pilot such as "in any new lead list, always highlight in red any contacts that have job titles that denote them as being in the sales department" or how would copilot be used to automate things like that if this is a common repeatable workload?
- 3. Will I be able to have copilot reference data within my outlook inbox when I am working within an excel list? such as, "highlight in green any leads on this list that have sent me an email within the last 90 days" without me having to run an export from outlook, have that in a separate excel sheet, and running a vlookup against the sender name?
- 4. Would copilot be able to build flows within power automate? example" When I receive an email from anyone on this lead list as denoted by their email address in column B, add that lead and the content of their email to spreadsheet XXXX.csv and send a weekly copy of that csv to teammate XXX and myself"
- 5. Will there be a way to allow copilot to access bing / google search results from within a spreadsheet? example: "search bing for each of these companies on this sheet, and add a url in column E to any news article denoting if these companies have suffered a ransomware attack in the last 180 days etc"
- 6. A usecase I would love to have available is something along the lines of "take the 150x marketing leads on this spreadsheet, and based upon their titles, and company sizes, write 3x separate marketing email sequences around product offering XXX with value props and solution examples segmented by department. IE a marketing thread for finance titles, for IT director and C-level titles, and a thread for lower level IT admin titles. save each email thread into a separate word doc in directory XXX on network drive XXX" is this going to be possible?
- 7. After a license is upgraded to use copilot, is there going to be a single setting somewhere in the admin controls to temporarily pause all copilot access to that users account?
- 8. Will copilot be able to build mail merge documents and contact lists?
- 9. Will copilot be able to view and extract data from a marketing targets linkedin account and profile?
