Hi, few questions regarding Copilot 365 for MS SharePoint/OneDrive:
Will M365 Copilot provide a ChatGPT alike answer based on info found in documents & messages? Or only listing relevant documents?
Can you ask M365 Copilot to compare content of multiple documents?
Can you ask M365 Copilot to change/update content inside documents?
Hey Giorgi, thanks for your question! Short answer, yes. Microsoft 365 Copilot will return responses in natural language with responses grounded in documents and tenant data the user already has access to. Important to note that it will only surface content accessible to the user, and does not change permissions and access.
- Hey Gabe, thanks for the response. Will that have some restrictions on how many documents are included in a given search or can it be on top of the whole SharePoint?
- Hey Giorgi, that would depend on the prompt, and whether the user specifies particular content in the query. Otherwise, Copilot will ground responses based on what's available to the user, which could include whole SharePoint sites if the user has access to it.
