Is there a difference chart between Bing Chat and Bing Chat for Enterprise on their capabilities? I noticed that the visual search was consumer accessible but not enterprise for example.

Hi Rocky, Thanks for the question. This blog post (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/blog/2023/07/18/introducing-bing-chat-enterprise-microsoft-365-copilot-pricing-and-microsoft-sales-copilot/) is a good place to start to understand the differences between Bing Chat and Bing Chat Enterprise. The major difference between the two is that Bing Chat Enterprise has the commitment to commercial data protection. With Bing Chat Enterprise, user and business data are protected and will not leak outside the organization. What goes in—and comes out—remains protected. Chat data is not saved, and Microsoft has no eyes-on access, which means no one can view your data. And, your data is not used to train the models.

Hi Rocky, outside the commercial data protection afforded by Bing Chat Enterprise, there are some feature differences between Bing Chat Enterprise and Bing Chat. Those feature differences are outlined here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/bing-chat-enterprise/overview - RockyFisherSep 06, 2023Copper ContributorFully appreciate that, is there any possibility of indexing tenants to review files being used and accessible by the person performing the query? For example, I am trying to compile report information based on files that I have access to, here is a what is being requested and from which files, tabs or pages.

Hi Rocky, Is this a Microsoft 365 Copilot question or a Bing Chat Enterprise (BCE) question? Bing Chat Enterprise doesn't index your files, it only has access to what you give it access. Microsoft 365 Copilot is built on top of and integrated with Microsoft 365. This integration enables you to take advantage of the existing Microsoft security, compliance, and privacy solutions that you’ve already deployed in your organization as well as other controls that may be made available to help you configure the use of Copilot as appropriate for your organization. Architected to protect tenant, group, and individual data. We know a major concern for customers is staying in control of access to business data within the organization. Within your tenant, we provide a permissions model that helps ensure that the right groups and users have access only to the data they’re supposed to have access to.
