3. Can we control exactly what Copilot is trained on? If we train it on proprietary data, does everyone who uses Copilot within our company have access to that data through Copilot
Copilot reasons across your business data, but only that which the user is permissioned for. For instance, Copilot will be able to answer questions about meetings that the user is invited to, files they have permissions to access, emails and chats they receive, etc. Copilot also can access broadly accessible data sources like Sharepoint which allows employees to ask more general questions.
- Understood, so does this mean if we use a custom data connection it will use the same principals? Or do we have to define permissions when we connect the data gateway?
