How Copilot for Microsoft 365 works: A deep dive

 

You can create a power point from a file using a pre-defined theme/template, and Copilot will ask you if you want to create a draft based on that template or not.

I believe, you might need to create a new presentation with the branding in a slide and then have copilot simply populate the content. It might not also extend to additional slides that might be created. So, you might have to iterate at the end where you need to apply the background or other custom graphics across multiple slides.

Still not yet available to use branding template. Workaround is to open the branding template, erase existing content and ask Copilot to create the deck.
