Very very impressed....our legal/info sec folks were so risk averse to having us use Copilot to summarize meetings....they were all DELIGHTED with the explicit consent that all meeting participants need to provide before a meeting can be recorded...great work Microsoft!!! now I need to convince my Legal/Info sec to allow us to use copilot with external participants, however the fact that the transcription and recording and AI summary is not available to external participants unless I release It to them separately...great work anticipating that too!
- Chris_SpiveyJul 09, 2024Copper ContributorHow does one set a meeting to require explict consent before a recording can start? I have not seen that as a meeting option.

- John-aitpJul 09, 2024Copper ContributorI dislike that you can't set recording, transcript and summary permissions at the meeting level so you can allow all participants (including external) access. It's hugely annoying if I'm external to have to ask a client or partner to send me the summary. Give me a button that I can press to ask for access and a popup on the organizer side to grant access. This is a huge PITA
