Copilot for Microsoft 365 is enabled or disabled using license assignment, which can be configured at user or group level. There are additional controls you can use to limit Copilot and other generative AI experiences using Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps and view usage with the AI Hub in Microsoft Purview.
