- When I join a teams meeting (late) and click the CoPilot button, it says "Sorry you don't have access to this content". Why? Doe sit only work for meetings that I am a host of? If so, what's the point of asking copilot what I missed in a meeting if I cannot do it for any meeting that I join?
- Hey Chris, there may be 2 reasons why this could be the case for certain meetings. 1. you're joining a call where the organizer is from a different tenant. Or 2. Transcription or recording was not enabled, and the setting to use Copilot without transcription is disabled.
- is there a possibility that we can customize copilot prompts. ? what kind of licensing is required for copilot studio. does the maker need license ? or all users

- I am having difficulties opening links sent via email while using the New Outlook? Clicking on any link redirects me to the OneSuffolk homepage. This does not occur when switching back to the older Outlook. Please let me know if there is a known solution. Thanks

- HI Anthony, thanks for the question. Yes, we will be bringing Copilot for Microsoft 365 functionality to Android and iOS devices. Many features have already been added which you can reference on our roadmap site and searching by the product Copilot for Microsoft 365 and platform, Android or iOS. - Not specifically mentioned on that roadmap (I think): the Android app "Copilot", seemingly the equivalent of Microsoft Copilot Chat, i.e., https://copilot.microsoft.com/ offers a Sign in option, but it does not offer a "Work or school account" sign in option, and thus, when I attempt to login with my work account, I get "We couldn't find an account with that email address or phone number" , and thus I'm stuck with the web-only non-enterprise context/grounding interactions.
Copilot seems to have very limited knowledge and understanding of the structure or the filesystem itself. I.e., folder and file organization, relative locations, even what "contains" means. I have the sense this isn't really something in the "nature" of LLMs, but here goes:
e.g.,
- query:"are there any ps1 files in the workbench folder in my onedrive?"
- reply:"Yes, there is at least one ps1 file in your workbench folder in your OneDrive. The file refreshXMLAUser.ps1 was mentioned in the bpcm-2181_deploymen_essbase_filest.txt file1 Is there anything else you would like to know?"
There wasn't any such file there. But there was another file that had content *describing* it. So again it is all content based. No "cognizance" of structure of filesystems.
However, if i limited it to questions like this:- query:"in my onedrive folder, are there any folders with the word "project" in their names?"
- query:"in my onedrive are there any folders named "crypt"?"
Results seemed accurate and useful. And yet, this resulted in a "sorry don't know":
query:"of those folders, how many contain files with the filename extension "SVG"?
underneath the special projects folder, and recursively descending, find files with the filename extension "SVG" "Are there prompting or configuration techniques that will give Copilot "awareness" of file-and-folder structures useful for querying? And/or is this something that is on the roadmap?
Hey Justin, it may be that your user data is still being indexed and therefore Copilot may not have a reference to it yet. If you're an admin, you can check the status of indexing through the Microsoft 365 admin center. Otherwise, the index isn't so much about file structure or system, more so about the relevancy and context of the data.- Understood, thank Gabe. I guess my feedback on that point is this: many businesses will actually capture a lot of context and "metadata" in the filesystems. E.g., folder structure is regional hierarchy state/district/county/city/office and then under that maybe a couple of special folders for "YET_TO_BE_PROCESSED". And even if it is best practices to have rich detailed "document properties" type metadata that also captures this, there are many filetypes that do not offer such metadata (even if I could get the budget to have people go back across all the files and insert and update metadata like that).
- CoPilot in native click to run Outlook application... I am using Current channel, Version 2312 (Build 17126.20132 Click to Run) and I do not have CoPilot in Outlook. It does appear in other Office produscts (Excel, PPT, Word) Is CoPilot available in click to run Outlook?
- Hey Bruce, which version of Outlook desktop are you using? It's currently only available on the new Outlook client, but will be coming to the previous one soon.
- When I assign Copilot M365 license - is there any time period before the licensed user can start using Copilot or it strat working immediately? (just we need to set up expectations for users)

This should show up very fast, ensuring your users are on the right channel (current or monthly). - Should take effect immediately, but it will take a little time for the user's semantic index to built. You can check the status of that on the License and Apps tab of the user's properties in the M365 admin center.
- I am in the location you specified above. What indicates the status of the Semantic search? I just see that the license is assigned and the app is present.
- I have repeatedly tried to create a PPT presentation based on information in an Excel document, have referenced the specific document, XLS tab and column to pull from. Each time I get a message back from CoPilot that it could not create the PPT. I have submitted feedback. Is this something that CoPilot should be able to do? If so, can I also ask it to use a corporate PPTX file as a style guide so that the PPT file uses the approved corporate slide deck theme?
- We have seen the copilot icon show up on certain user's task bars. Is this deployment configurable? Which OS update includes this? Are there other things that trigger this?
- You can create a custom Configuration Profile in Intune to disable it for selected users, this is how I accomplished this in our hybrid environment.
- Does anyone know which updates add the icon? We are trying to align communications with deployment timing. We have not been able to corelate what triggers it showing up.

Yes, I can confirm, annual option for purchasing is already visible in M365 Admin.
