Assuming you have a license applied to your user account, if you do not see it, you can try to force it by going to file, account, update license. Hopefully that will bring the copilot feature down. If that does not work and it has been more than 48 hours since license assignment, you might need to reinstall the M365 apps suite.
I do have a Copilot license- thanks, I'll try that
