Sure! Here are some reasons why I think this feature would be valuable:
Community Engagement: Allowing users to vote on prompts encourages community engagement. It empowers users to express their preferences and contribute to the improvement of Copilot Lab.
Quality Control: Voting enables users to highlight high-quality prompts. It helps filter out less useful or outdated content, ensuring that the most relevant and accurate prompts rise to the top.
Feedback Loop: By voting, users can provide direct feedback to Microsoft. It serves as a feedback loop, allowing the dev team to prioritize and refine prompts based on user preferences.
Discoverability: Prompts with more votes would be easily discoverable by other users, making it easier to find valuable content.
My suggestion to implement this mechanism is the following:
- Add a voting mechanism (thumbs up/down or star ratings) next to each prompt.
- Allow users to vote anonymously.
- Display the total votes for each prompt.
