I heard an answer from Microsoft to a question very similar to this , and basically it was "no, version history won't be a feature of a loop component precisely as it is designed to change" or words to that effect.
That's terrible news. That same argument from MS can be made to justify WHY activity history is needed.
I'm not even asking for full version history like we get with other Office documents. Just a log of the who, what and when would be sufficient for me.
