I recently saw the use case to embed a Loop component in a Word Document - what's the purpose? Also Word / Word Online provides Co-Authoring where everyone sees changed almost directly. Why using a Loop component inside Word?
Great question Stefan. Loop components provide a place in a Word doc to coordinate the creation of the document. You could add a task list to get team members contributions, list research links and more. We could do that without Loop components. Create a page at the beginning of the doc. Use a table for tasks. List research links etc. But a component let’s us share these things independent of the document. We could request contributions to a paragraph by sharing just a paragraph inside a component. It’s hard to describe in text. But once the feature is available in preview, I plan to share examples how our team will use it in creating deliverables for a ACM campaign.
