When we remote wipe the email on a mobile device, does it only erase the content related to the office365 email account? Or erase the content on the entire mobile device? Thanks!

Thank you for the clarification, In this case it seems like you are leveraging the wipe option that is part of Exchange, the data is removed based on the options selected, the device being used (e.g. IOS/Android), and if you are using the native mail app vs the Microsoft Email app. The following covers the expected outcomes based on the scenario.
