- Do I have to use Defender XDR for endpoint to get shadow IT for Cloud Apps?
- Well. From my perspective the best combo will be Defender XDR + Defender for Cloud Apps. It depends on scenario and environment, but if you have BYOD scenario in place, once they are registered into Intune/Defender than system getting information about software installed. You need to look for many OS (Windows/Linux/iOS/Android/ maybe even MacOS). The behaviour is slightly different for corporate and non-corporate devices, as well OS type.

You need to enable integration between Defender for Endpoint and Defender for Cloud Apps within the Defender for Endpoint config. Hi Jason E. Heiser - This is not a Teams Live Event. Depending on your organization's policies, you may need to watch on a different platform such as LinkedIn or X/Twitter, or from a personal device.
- We want to use GitHub Copilot but we have OpenAI blocked at the moment. Can we point GitHub Copilot to Microsoft Open AI? If not, how do we secure the usage of GitHub Copilot?
- assafyatzivHi Judy, I'm not sure I fully understand the scenario you describe. What issues you're concerned by with GitHub Copilot? If you work with it directly and don't block it with Defender for Cloud Apps, it should work fine (unless you block it from other directions)
