Microsoft Fabric & AI Learning Hackathon Kickoff AMA: Ready, Set, Hack!
Event details
Get ready for the Microsoft Fabric & AI Learning Hackathon! We're calling all Data/AI Enthusiasts and Data/AI practitioners to join us for the kick-off event where we will give background on the Hackathon challenges, provide links to get started, and give you a preview of what's to come in our upcoming Microsoft Fabric & AI Learning Hackathon Workshops! Plus, you'll get to meet other hackers, mentors, and experts who will help you along the way. Come with ideas or come for inspiration, we'd love to hear what you're planning to build!
An AMA is a live text-based online event similar to an “Ask Me Anything” on Reddit. This AMA gives you the opportunity to connect with Microsoft product experts who will be on hand to answer your questions and listen to feedback. The AMA takes place entirely in the comments below. There is no additional video or audio link as this is text-based.
Check out this https://blog.fabric.microsoft.com/en-US/blog/announcing-the-microsoft-fabric-ai-learning-hackathon/ for the official announcement about the Hackathon and check out the https://microsoftfabric.devpost.com/ for all the details about the Hackathon.
Feel free to post your questions anytime in the comments below beforehand, if it fits your schedule or time zone better, though questions will not be answered until the live hour.

- pallavirBrass ContributorI am Pallavi, logged in from India. Would like to know if Open AI is inclusive with Fabric Trial, we need a separate subscription from Azure Open AI service.

Microsoft
Azure Open AI is a separate service outside of Microsoft Fabric, however, to ensure that you have all the tools necessary to build the next AI innovation with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Open AI, we are offering free access to Microsoft Fabric in addition to an Azure Open AI Proxy service that will allow you to use AI services without an Azure account. More details on how to access Azure Open AI services without the need for an Azure subscription can be seen here: https://aka.ms/fabricaoaiproxy (Note: access will instead require login with a GitHub user id).
