Windows Server 2025 is generally available as of Nov 1!!
Yesterday in "Update" (Sever 2022) I had a notice to upgrade to version 2025. I have purchased a license and today when I go to "Update" I don't have the notice to upgrade. How can I upgrade my 2022 server to version 2025?
I just checked another WS2022 server in my lab and I also do NOT see that link. I'm speculating that Microsoft made a mistake and unintentionally sent that notice to upgrade to Windows Server 2025 in Windows Update. I guess they jumped the gun...

Is there any way to upgrade from 2022 to 2025? The ISO I have is for new installation only. When running the installation I can't select "Keep Files...", this section is disabled. Is there an ISO to upgrade to that will preserve settings and files?

Where did you get the ISO? Assuming it's from a legitimate source, :), you should see the upgrade option if you run setup.exe from the mounted ISO in Windows.
If you boot your server from the ISO, you canNOT perform an in-place upgrade.

I bought the license from an online store and they assured me that it was a legitimate and original license. When I bought the license, they gave me a link to download the ISO.
I'm going to wait until December 10th for the problems to be fixed and for the option to upgrade to version 2525 to appear again in "Update". Thanks.
