ok i have done my research and windows server 2022 got the windows 11 GUI from build 22538.
but now it is build 25140.
so can you tell me in which build is there the same kernel as in windows 11 22H1 (i am not talking about the first realease of windows 11 21H2) ?
and if the retail build of windows server 2022 is 20348 when will windows server be released as retail with the same GUI as in windows 11 22H1 : 2022 or 2023 or 2024 ?
will it still branded as indows server 2022 or another one ?
i dont know the pricing policy of microsoft as regards to windows server : so if a newer version of windows server with windows 11 22H1 GUI would come out in 2022 or 2023 will it be a free or paid upgrade for windows server 2022 retail ?

The UI of Windows Server is still evolving for the upcoming release. When it is released, it will have whatever GUI features, look and feel that are final at that time. The branding situation is mentioned in the build announcements - the branding is still 2022 because the branding for the next version is not yet final, and probably won't be until much closer to the release date. The upgrade story depends on how you purchased the previous version and what type of license you have in place today. See Pricing and licensing for Windows Server 2022 at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/pricing. Contact your reseller for upgrade options available to you. Please understand, I'm not trying to be vague, we are simply too early in the cycle to have all the answers to your questions.
