VNext / Server 2025 Snipping Tool

The default snipping tool in Server 2025 is behind the Windows 11 version.   Is there a way to have the Server snipping tool have the same functionality as Windows 11?   Or is this a case of catchup?

    There are two Snipping Tools afaik. One is very similar to Windows 11 and already includes screen recordings.

    The Windows 11 version of the Snipping Tool is an AppX package (Microsoft Store application). You can do the following to get it installed:

    • If you have the Microsoft Store installed, search for "Snipping Tool" and install it
    • If you don't have the Store, perform these steps:
      1. Open the https://store.rg-adguard.net and paste https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9mz95kl8mr0l?hl=en-us&gl=US
      2. Download the latest AppX package and confirm any security risks
      3. Double-click the AppX package and install
