Unable to change account password from settings as it will crash the settings

I tried to change my account password in the settings, but when I clicked on the login option, my settings unexpectedly closed. Microsoft Edge is also unable to log in to a Microsoft account.

I reinstalled this version of Windows Server on VMware, but the problem persists.

Since you are using Insider , you should know this build is under testing and evaluation. I advise you to check the Event Viewer and see if there are any relevant log files there?
If you have access to a Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC, open the Feedback Hub app and select Windows Server and file a bug report.
