    Hi. SMB over QUIC for Azure Files is still on the roadmap. I don't have an exact timeline to share from the AF team, sorry.

    We don't have plans to make SMB over QUIC available outside Azure Edition but stay tuned on this subject.

Iā€™m happy to inform you that Windows Server 2025 is now generally available, and with it, SMB over QUIC can be implemented in your on-premise environment. However, as of now, you cannot configure it through Windows Admin Center (WAC); you must use PowerShell.
