Quick Assist not opening error code - %d

3 days ago I tried opening Quick Assist to getting a %d error code.
I have reset my computer twice, tried creating a local account as administrator and tried opening Quick Assist that way, still same error persists.
When I go to Installed apps > Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime, when I click on the 3 dots next to it the options are not white they are a grey colour and doesn't allow me to click on them.
My OS Build 29639.1000 and my Windows Edition is - Windows 11 Home Insider Preview and the version is - Dev
Also doesn't allow me to log into any PC Xbox accounts as well. Any help would be very appreciated.

  • You’re seeing Quick Assist fail with the literal %d message on Windows 11 Home Insider Dev build 29639.1000, while WebView2 repair options are unavailable and Xbox sign-in also fails. Quick Assist requires Microsoft Edge WebView2, but %d is not one of Microsoft’s documented Quick Assist error codes, so another reset is unlikely to help. Install every available Windows and Microsoft Store update, then update Edge. Download and run the current WebView2 Evergreen Runtime installer even if WebView2 already appears under Installed apps. Next, run wsreset.exe, reopen Microsoft Store, uninstall and reinstall Quick Assist, and restart. Test both Quick Assist and Xbox sign-in again. If both still fail, record the problem in Feedback Hub under the Insider build and include the exact build, time, and screenshots. Because this is a Dev build, also test a supported stable Windows build before treating it as an account-specific fault.
