I would like to renew my wish on winget on Windows Server vNext.
The installation challenges are finally solved in vNext. The VCredist appx are separately available then everyone can install winget
It is the same with Microsoft Terminal (included inbox), and their "predeployment package" that works fine.
It is on the roadmap for longer, please make this wish come true. GPO settings are feasible for management, PowerShell support on the way, can be updated via Update Catalog just like you do for Microsoft Terminal, don't you?
