DNS DOH and DOT Server 2025
Does anyone know if Windows Server 2025 is planning to support native DNS over HTTPS or DNS over TLS? As of now, windows clients can be configured to support this, but MS DNS is not DOH or DOT com...
Safe to say, it won't be in Server 2025?
It has been released in preview through Windows Update.
Microsoft introduced DoH resolver support for Windows DNS Server in the February 10, 2026, cumulative update for Windows Server 2025. This marks a significant shift from previous Windows implementations, which only supported DoH on the client side. With this update, Windows DNS Server can now act as a DoH resolver, receiving and processing encrypted DNS queries from DoH-capable clients.
