Can I connect to local share using net use command on local windows server?
I tried to connect to local share using net use command on windows server 2016. net use z: \\localhostname\localsharename /user:userid As I enter password for userid, it responds with error...
Is this user connected to Active Directory too?
It is hard to say what causing this behavior , may be temporary issue with service and normally in case you restart your PC, the problem might be solved.
However, try check Event Viewer and you might see some errors where guide you through what caused this problem.
