mount vhd permanently

Question

Hi all,&nbsp;I have run into a bit of a problem I hope to get some help solving.&nbsp;Is there any way I can get windows server to mount a vhdx file/virtual disk permantly? Right now they get dismounted everytime the server reboots.&nbsp;Best regards and thanks in advanced.&nbsp;Jan L Dam

Is there an OS or is it a data drive? What host OS is used?

it is a data disk, and I want to mount it in windows server 2016

Unfortunately it is in a host system.

Is the storage local? Sounds like the storage may not be available when the VM starts. I'd check the Hyper-V event logs for related errors.
