Hi
To transfer the virtual server to a host with different processors "Migration to a physical computer with a different processor version " option needs to be ticked.
i have this option selected on all my vms before i added a new host (with amd apyc 74f3) to my hyper-v cluster.
- Have you tried carrying it closed ?
- Offline migration is working well. Problem is only with Live migration
I shared my experiences, unfortunately it was not possible to use different AMD processors without shutting down the server, good luck to you.
- I need to shut down and move different servers with AMD processors to different clusters.
