Configure Dell PowerVault MD3200i to work all the 8 Ethernet ports at the same time
Hello,
I have a Dell PowerVault MD3200i and i want to connect it to windows server 2022.
The PowerVault has 8ports/1gb (2 networkscards) and the windows server 1 port sfp+
I have already done the connection but all the traffic goes through only to 4 ports.
How can i make this machine work to 8 ports at the same time?
Hi,
There is no way to achieve this since the LUN is actively attached to one RAID controller at a time.
You cant have a round-robin fashion with MD3200i using both controllers for the same VOLUME. Each LUN is always connected for I/O to only one raid controller (Owner Path)
