AD site not visible in DNS
Hi Guys,
Recently I had a situation, we have 5 AD sites.
Suddenly, I started seeing follwoing issues:
1. SRV records for a single DC which is PDC got deleted including SITE name from DNS, so only 4 site name is visible out of 5.
2. Out those 5 DCs, 4 gives wrong DNS resolution of a record and one gives correct.
Upon troubleshooting cleaning up cache, DNS restart, one server starts responding correct IP when ping but nslookup still provides incorrect output.
No.host record WINS in place.
Please advise what to be done to relist the site in DNS and possible fix for DNS.

- DCDIAG doesn't tell you anything? Replication issue in DNS zone if Active Directory Integrated?
- Restarting NETLOGON and/or ipconfig/registerdns usually fixes it. Restarting NTDS does register things, good that it's fixed
