How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
- Jul 30, 2024The November 2023 update added “never combined” mode on the taskbar for Windows 11. To find this feature, go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors. Set Combine taskbar buttons and hide labels to Never. It also added a separate setting for turning this feature on for other taskbars when you use multiple monitors.

Microsoft does not view this as a defect, therefore there is nothing to fix. They would say it's working as designed. Install ExplorerPatcher and **bleep** Microsoft.
- NormCJul 18, 2022Brass ContributorJust because Microsoft doesn't think it is a defect does not mean that it isn't. Most posting here is to let MSFT know that they need to take another look at the usability of their OS, based on customer's feedback. It may take a lot more posting to make that happen. But to say cease with the complaint and install a 3rd party patch is letting MSFT do as it pleases without regard to the consumer, when it should be the other way around. So lets hope for more postings.
