"Install Windows Windows could not finish configuring the system..." Stuck!
Tried to reset my wife's laptop to factory settings by reinstalling Windows. At one stage of the process after an automatic restart I got this error message. I then hit Shift/F10 to open Com...
I recommend to boot into advanced recovery options, and retry reinstall from there.
If issue still persists, you can alternatively perform repair upgrade:

When I hit the power button it goes into the screen with the window emblem and the spinning dot circle and then shifts to a grey screen with the spinning dot circle. That's it. Nothing at all happens if I try F2 or F12 or Shift/F10.
I'm thinking, at this stage, that the simplest solution is to replace the SSD and start from scratch with a clean install.
