Windows Update problem with Windows Vista ?

When i click to "check for updates managed by your system administator" i get 80072EFD. When i click "check online for updates from windows update" i get 80072EFE
How can i fix the problem?

    The primary reason for this is that Microsoft no longer supports Windows Vista, and the update infrastructure for Vista has been retired or significantly changed. The servers that your Vista installation is trying to connect to for updates are no longer available or are using protocols that your Vista system doesn't support.

    For the first error I found this in a non-MS form post that might help:
    "... discontinued the updating services as well when they discontinued windows 7, vista has ended support, and they discontinued their updating services. What I had to do is go on to Microsoft’s catalog update site to download all the recent updates and security packs. Try looking there since it has every update from Windows XP and above."
