Windows system Win+R opens the Run window slowly

When I press Win+R to bring up the Run window on my Dell computer, I always have to wait about 1 second for it to appear. This has been the case since I first started using Win+R. I think it should normally pop up within half a second, right? I would like to ask if this issue can be resolved. If it cannot be resolved, I plan to write a script to keep the Run window open at all times to temporarily work around this issue.

    Solution: Disconnect unused network drives.

    1. Open File Explorer.

    2. On the left sidebar, look under "Network locations" for any mapped network drives (e.g., Z:, Y:).

    3. Right-click on any drive you are not currently using and select Disconnect.

Test Win+R again. If it's now fast, you've found the issue. You can recreate the drive mapping later when you need it, or ensure the target PC/NAS is always on.
