Windows system game keys mysteriously become shortcut keys and cannot be restored.

When playing games, the keys mysteriously turn into shortcut keys, even after disabling the sticky keys feature, modifying the input method shortcut keys, and even removing the Win key to prevent accidental touches. The problem persists. More seriously, this abnormal state cannot be canceled or reversed, and even the Ctrl+Alt+Delete key combination cannot bring up the task manager. How can this be resolved?

It sounds like your keyboard is stuck in a modifier/shortcut mode. Try the following:

Restart your PC in Safe Mode to see if the keys behave normally.

Update or reinstall your keyboard driver via Device Manager.

Check for third-party software (gaming utilities, key mappers, macro apps) that might override keys and temporarily disable/uninstall them.

If the issue persists, try another keyboard to rule out a hardware problem.

These steps usually restore normal key behavior.
