Windows PC launch problem on Asus Z87-Pro motherboard

I have just built a new PC with more or less old components:
processor: intel i7-4770k
motherboard: asus Z87-pro (bios 1602 then updated with the latest bios)
RAM: G-skill F3-12800CL7D-8GBXM RipjawsX 8Go (2x4Go) DDR3-1600 CL7-8-8 1.50V
GPU: Gigabyte RTX 2060 - GDDR6 6 GB
SSD: KingSpec 1To 2.5" SATA
power supply: Corsair CX750 - 750W
case: Cooler Master HAF 500 White

(before this assembly, my W10 was installed in the SDD in my old tower with an i7-860+ asus P7P55D + 8 GB RAM (DDR3) with the RTX 2060, everything worked without problems.)

I am asking you because I lack the skills to deal with this problem:

  • I can't launch my SSD with W10 (sometimes I get the automatic repair preparation message)
  • I can't boot a USB key with W10, wanting to do a "clean" installation of W10

=> each time, when the Windows logo (black screen + blue rectangles) is displayed, nothing happens, the small dots that rotate in a circle are not displayed either...

what I tested:
I installed my Windows 7 from a DVD player in my new config => OK it works I get to the office etc... (but I would like to install W10...)
I separately tested the graphics card, the RAM sticks, the SSD, the power supply, only the motherboard could not be tested with another processor (but Windows 7 installed correctly)
so on the component side, I think everything is OK

I created W10 bootable USB keys with 3 different USB keys, with the MediaCreationTool.exe tool from Windows and Rufus (with ISO from the Windows 10 2022 tool | Version 22H2) => still the same problem
initially I carried out the manipulations with a bios 1602 which I finally updated to the latest version 2103 => still the same problem

I tested with CSM enabled /auto /disabled => still the same problem
I don't know how to deactivate secure boot on the Z87-pro, maybe that's the problem?

In the end I manage to install W10 with my old config (bios) with bootable key in MBR, but not in the new UEFI config with bootable key GPT...

Thank you for taking the time to read me.
Looking forward to your answers/questions, I wish you a happy new year 2025!

You can temporarily switch back to legacy/CSM mode and try installing Windows in MBR mode, then switch to UEFI later once Windows is installed.

Your detailed description helps a lot. It sounds like you've already done extensive troubleshooting, and the core issue seems to be around UEFI booting and compatibility on your new build, especially with Secure Boot, BIOS settings, and UEFI/GPT configurations.

You cannot boot Windows 10 from SSD in your new PC, either via USB boot or when trying to start Windows.
