Windows Installer Ends Prematurely

Hi all. Hopefully someone has an idea of how to fix this. When attempting to install programs I keep getting a notification that the Windows Installer and ended prematurely. I've unregistered a...

Thanks for responding.

I have tested it with several programs, none of them will currently install. The specific program is DB Browser for SQLite.

I am indeed using Windows 11, and it had worked in prior versions of Windows -and- Windows 11. This is a very recent problem.

Try run Windows Update and download and install all updates.
Open start and search for feedback and open the Feedback Hub app and report this issue.
Try restart your PC and try again.
Try performing a Clean Boot and see if the problem persists?

    I've tried feedback hub, it never finished loading and so I've been unable to report it. If the problem persists I might just have to bite the bullet and reinstall Windows. Nobody seems to know what the issue is, and it's quite frustrating.

      I shared earlier to perform a Clean Boot?
      Have you boot into the Clean Boot?
      If yes, what was the result?
      Clean Boot is state where your Windows will boot with minimum services and if that resolve the issue, you may enable services one by one to identify which one causing the problem.

        I've the same problem, tried that and other 9 workarounds found in google but no luck..

         

        Also this only happens when I try to install with *.msi files

         

        For .exe it works normally...

         

        Seems I need to revert back to Windows 10... have several important apps that I cannot install at the moment...
