Booting into Safe Mode can help you determine if the problem is caused by third-party software.
- Restart your computer.
- As soon as it starts, press F8 or hold down Shift + F8 (depending on your setup) to access the boot menu.
- Select Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Networking.
- Check if you can access your drives in Safe Mode.

The issue with disappearing drives (except for the C drive) and the error screen might be related to the Windows Insider build being unstable or a hardware/driver conflict. Here are some steps to troubleshoot:
- Check Disk Management:
- Press Win+X, select Disk Management, and see if your drives are listed but not assigned a letter.
- If so, right-click the drive, choose Change Drive Letter and Paths, and assign a letter.
- Update Storage Drivers:
- Open Device Manager, expand Disk Drives, right-click each drive, and choose Update Driver.
- If issues persist, try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers.
- Check Insider Build Stability:
- Unstable Insider builds can cause such issues. Consider rolling back to a stable version via Settings > Recovery if available.
