Windows 12 as far as i know?
As per this thread created, i got some information about Windows 12, which is:
- Windows 12 is coming about late 2024 or early 2025.
- Windows 12 is possibly already show up on Canary Channel although it is not officially confirmed.
- Several news sources say that HP give a hint if around October 2024, the Windows 11 version 24H2 (or Windows 11 2024 Update) is released, while HP is keep silent about Windows 12, which is possibly Windows 12 will be delayed a bit later after Windows 11 24H2 released.
- System requirements for Windows 12 is definitely higher than Windows 11. Windows 12 still require TPM 2, Secure Boot support, and processor that capable to use hardware accelerated VBS properly, such as processor that released on 2018 and later. Windows 12 require minimum 8 GB of ram and possibly still same 64 GB disk space, while SSD is becoming a mandatory. Actually, Windows 12 require special hardware named NPU (Neural Processing Unit) for all features in Windows 12 is working properly, but since the NPU is still very expensive to acquire (or basically you need an Intel Core Ultra 5 125U at least), so these requirements should be optional.
- Information about whether Windows 12 will be a subscription based operating system or not is still unclear, but most speculation says that Windows 12 is not required to subscribe to use.
That's it from me. If you got any more further information about Windows 12, you can share here.
Thanks to XDA that give me a big overview about Windows 12.

What with all the scary & bizarre things happening with Microsoft Windows πͺ 11, I find it hard to believe that you are bored. Most people have found situation very tough. Since Microsoft has cadenced Windows 10 πͺ to graveyard burial, Microsoft has no viable release of WINDOWS πͺ available for delivery π today; OEMs have no viable release of WINDOWS πͺ available for delivery π in their computers. π€

Windows 12 should be released in 2028 at least. If Microsoft decide early and with even stricter requirements than Windows 11 users and Business will just avoid and it maybe a win for Linux. Secondly Windows 11 really needs to be more user friendly than now. All the Apps that can with it and you can delete some and not others is insane. Example the store you can now not buy TV/Movies and most gamers use Steam or CD Keys is no longer needed and could be deleted to free up resources.

. . . I downloaded Steam and it was so old and rancid that it tripped malware protection because Certificate was long deceased. . . . I have had decent luck with GOG. π€

I don't understand why a NPU must be a requirement when there's plenty of us who have GPUs that outperform NPUs in terms of TOPS performance. Show me an NPU that outperforms the RTX4070Ti. I hate that I'm gatekept from features because I chose to build a PC with a 9800X3D and a 4070Ti instead of an NPU. At least give us the option to leverage some of our tensor cores and CUDA cores to use "Copilot+" features. I can run LLMs locally on my PC, with better generation times and throughput than the leading NPU driven PC, but I can't use the enhanced search in windows. Make it make sense.
If Windows 12 were to give us the option to leverage our GPUs in lieu of an NPU, I'd be a very early adopter, but if they're going to try to force us to get a new (N)PU then I'll just stick with Win11 to the end, the way so many people have been doing with Win10.
Just my two cents. Of course, it's all speculation based on what's been mentioned in this post and thread. - ForkliftCommanderCopper Contributor

not another windows 11/12 that come out with to low system requirement!!!! The set minimum should 2.5CPU with 32GB RAM and 500GB internal storage. Recommend 64GB RAM and 1TB internal because windows 11 PC with has a lot less headache! Microsoft will drive way their customer base way make where cheap PC and laptop builds at 8 GB -16GB RAM all riddle with blue screen of death, error or not run at all. Just take look at best buy and amazon review!!!π
