Windows 12 as far as i know?
As per this thread created, i got some information about Windows 12, which is:
- Windows 12 is coming about late 2024 or early 2025.
- Windows 12 is possibly already show up on Canary Channel although it is not officially confirmed.
- Several news sources say that HP give a hint if around October 2024, the Windows 11 version 24H2 (or Windows 11 2024 Update) is released, while HP is keep silent about Windows 12, which is possibly Windows 12 will be delayed a bit later after Windows 11 24H2 released.
- System requirements for Windows 12 is definitely higher than Windows 11. Windows 12 still require TPM 2, Secure Boot support, and processor that capable to use hardware accelerated VBS properly, such as processor that released on 2018 and later. Windows 12 require minimum 8 GB of ram and possibly still same 64 GB disk space, while SSD is becoming a mandatory. Actually, Windows 12 require special hardware named NPU (Neural Processing Unit) for all features in Windows 12 is working properly, but since the NPU is still very expensive to acquire (or basically you need an Intel Core Ultra 5 125U at least), so these requirements should be optional.
- Information about whether Windows 12 will be a subscription based operating system or not is still unclear, but most speculation says that Windows 12 is not required to subscribe to use.

Still no official news about Windows 12.
It's been suggested that Windows 12 could arrive in late 2024 or early 2025. Microsoft tends to have a rhythm where major updates roll out roughly every 18 months, so this aligns with their pattern of providing significant upgrades.
The presence of Windows 12 builds in the Canary Channel would indicate that Microsoft is actively testing new features and functionalities. The Canary Channel is known for being a testing ground for the most experimental builds, so encountering Windows 12 there would not be surprising.

Windows 12 is not even in the pipe line as yet although Microsoft haven't confirmed anything the internet is how they say full of speculation...... They may not even call it windows 12 they may just keep Windows 11 24H2 structure and improve but the impact on windows 10 computers at present is massive as windows 10 users don't want to upgrade lol this situation goes on all the time when a new operating system comes out. Windows 10 users you can upgrade to windows 11 but u need more than 8 gig of ram and a dual core CPU minimum. I recommend using Rufus to make either bootable usb drive or a disk to upgrade to windows 11. I've put windows 11 24H2 on a laptop that doesn't meet Microsoft requirements and it's running fine 💯 perfect. When using Rufus please read online first on how to use Rufus as u don't want to get stuck.....any questions please feel free to get in touch
Windows 10 end-of-life is what? The end of '26? I'll betcha THAT will be the time '12 get introduced.
With present-day Windows 11 version 23H2, even 8 Gigs of RAM is less! My 3 year old HP laptop with 11th Gen Intel i5 and 512 of SSD storage has started hanging and freezing! Point to note is that my Windows 11 came out of the box and I have a genuine Office 2019 license purchased and no dicey apps or game installed! You need at least 16 Gigs to run Windows 11 smoothly.
The apps running in the background likely cause even turned off they use space on your storage drive. If we could delete them all. I suspect slow machines would improve. Not saying Apps not useful. But if you want apps download them from the store.
Only Rufus and 2 gigabytes of RAM are not available in Windows 11. It needs a new generation powerful processor with a high frequency and also at least 8 gigabytes of RAM DDR4 and above. Also SSD memory.Otherwise, we will get a very long time to think and slow applications
Windows 12 won't come out until late 2024 or early 2025. Windows 12 beta versions still might not be avalible.
See . . . It's mid-3/25, as of now and MSN is still tinkering with 24H2 (025-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5053598).
That is why I don't predict what those "screwballs" might be doing. It'll be 11 until they're ready.
Absolutely no chance that it requires an NPU. It's completely unnecessary for an endless number of use cases.
If my Ryzen 5700u and desktop processor Ryzen 7700x Won't work on windows 12 anymore I'll learn to use ubuntu 😄

Windows 11 is pretty good for me. And new news on Windows 12 yet!
