Windows 11's Windows Security App can't open.
Alright guys, just now I'm trying to disable the Windows defender but I found out that I can't even open the Windows Security App. Anyone knows what's going on? Any solution? I'm looking for help. ...
Hello,Suggest try the following steps:
- Open PowerShell by using Administrator rights
- Copy and paste Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.SecHealthUI -AllUsers | Reset-AppxPackage to the PowerShell window and press enter
- Close the PowerShell and retry
Hey I started having this issue recently and was wondering if it had something to do with system configuration because when I go to System Configuration and it tells me that the status of the service is stopped for windows security. I have also tried many fixes, I tried uninstalling apps to see if anything was conflicting with it, I tried repairing through PowerShell, I tried repair corrupt files through Command Prompt, I tried repairing and restarting through windows settings, and I got nowhere with any of those fixes. I also cannot access the windows security tab in Settings and when I click on it. It just causes my Settings to become unresponsive. I was wondering if this has something to do with my system possibly being compromised or if it's purely a windows 11 issue.
